Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana, on April 15,1976. Ward went to Monroe Christian School, a Christian private school for children. As a student in secondary school, Ward initially attended Ouachita High School. However, she later transferred into River Oaks High School during the summer right after her junior year. A short time after her graduation, she enrolled at Northeast Louisiana University. Ward, then 13, started modeling shortly after leaving the school. She moved in New York to pursue this career. She decided to pursue acting in the following years. In the 1970s, she played a minor role uncredited in the soap opera daytime All My Children. Then she landed a short-lived role on NBC's primetime teen-drama Malibu Shores. In the latter half of 1996Ward got a job on the daytime soap-opera Sunset Beach where she portrayed the sexually virginal Meg Cummings. In 1999, Ward began her acting career in films as Brittany Foster, the psychotic Brittany Foster of the erotic comedy The In Crowd. This movie, which was initially a financial failure in cinemas and then on video-on-demand (VOD) was able to become wildly popular. Ward then played an important supporting role in Shallow Hal, a hit film. Her other acting credits include a variety of direct-to-DVD movies and appearances in television series, such as Friends. In 2009she was cast in the role of Chloe Kmet kothe mother of one of the gymnas in the ABC Family drama show Make It or Break It as a member of the cast in the series' first two seasons. In her private life she was married to David C. Robinson. The couple had a boy named Cameron.
